The Robotz Have Invaded!

So this first one is done with vinyl in Michael's room, he picked the colors and the robot. These were just colors I had on hand and didn't realize the brown matched his wall camo. I've been wanting to get a roll of brushed silver vinyl, now I think I have a real "excuse!"

This is a little one my daughter agreed to let me put on her laptop... I think it's soooo cute!

This guy is my first ever 3-D Cricut project. I would've cut the pieces out differently if I had realized how they all go together, but overall, we're pretty happy with it. Michael picked this one out too and helped me put it together.

My two guys (hubby and son) are getting into building robots and that's why I just had to have this cartridge, it came out just at the perfect time!

Have a great day!

One of My "Golden Rules" of Scrapbooking

Today I reaffirmed one of my personal "golden rules"  That would be always stock up and keep extra on hand when ever possible. I had been happily cutting away on my Cricut when I realized that even with all the settings turned to the max amount, my card stock was not cutting all the way through. I figured my blade had gone dull and I was not happy. I was almost done with my project and wanted to do just one more thing (yeah right!) My daughter had taken my car for the day, so I knew there was no hope of getting a new blade right away. I was sure I did not have any spare ones, as I have only replaced it once in all the years I've been "Cricuting." I decided to work with what I had managed to cut and was digging through my stuff when..... what to my wondering eyes did I see?!  A spare blade still in it's package! Could it be?! So there I have it once again, my "stock piling" of craft supplies has paid off once again! Sure as sure can be, I will be purchasing more next time I have my car....and a coupon of course!
Have a great day!

WHEW!!!!!!!

Yes, I know I like using exclamation points. I just finished phase 1 of my big project for the crafting world out there!!! What a relief!!! It took me just over 3 months of non-stop, brain numbing data entry, and it's DONE!!!!!  Now on to phase 2.....the programming!
I can't even begin to tell you all how excited I am!!!!  I'm going to enjoy this weekend so much!
Hope everyone is having a great week!
Blessings to you all,

Pink, Green & Black Challenge

So this weekend Robyn over at My Pink Stamper had a challenge to make something with the Cricut and the colors pink, green, and black. I've never done a challenge before, but I figured, hey why not? I needed a break away from my computer anyhow. So here is my humble entry into the challenge. It was fun getting crafty for the afternoon, good therapy too!
Have a great weekend!

Happy Easter!

This evening we finally dyed our Easter Eggs. Michael has been waiting and waiting and waiting..... Mike, Michael and I had a fun time laughing and being goofy together. I got the idea from a guest designer on Everyday Cricut to use vinyl to help decorate our eggs, I LOVE it! You all know I'm a vinyl fanatic as this was just one more way to enable me! It was even easy for Michael, and that's saying a lot for an easily distracted 13 yr old guy. I used the Orcal 630 vinyl I purchase from Sign Warehouse and it worked like a dream. So much fun!
Here's my sweet crazy hubby being usual silly self. Now I've gotten vinyl on my hubby, what's next I ask???

Have a Very Blessed Easter!

Easter Blessings

Happy Almost Easter! Spring is my favorite time of the year and with it comes Easter. It causes me to stop and think how blessed and loved I am by my Heavenly Father. I am so grateful to Him for everything I am and all the blessings I have.
May you and your family be blessed this Easter!

P.S. Isn't this picture just the cutest thing ever? I just had to add it.
Thank you Karen at The Graphics Fairy.
